Maybe in the US. Don’t forget how many people in Africa have it and it’s incredibly common in women there too. It’s estimated that almost 40 million people in Africa have the disease and half of that have died.

You are not going to get hiv if you use a condom properly (Latex or Polyurethane, not animal skin). Even if it breaks, there is still a very low risk of getting it. Plus there is treatment you can get on after getting immediately exposed possibly.
