Nothing will happen to you, several a year get hit in La.

It’s a protected species, the enforcement comes under the US Fish & Walmart Service
A few Native American nations can take a few eagles per year legally for their worship services but it is otherwise illegal to possess anything Bald Eagle-y.

it’s a Bald Eagle might be a different story.
In what way? Is there a defense attorney against which one would need their own attorney?
Seems pretty asinine to get in trouble for hitting a creature over which you’d have no idea was going to get hit by you.
I’m sure some democrat/pedophile would be all for it.

quote:July 2020, Hole #17 at Genoa Lakes - Ranch course in Genoa, NV. 315 yard par 4, high elevation, wind at my back, and not scoring well anyway, so I decide to give it all I got just to see how close I could get to the green. I caught it clean, and thought it would be somewhere behind one of the sand bunkers or maybe in it. After looking around for several minutes, I jokingly told my wife "oh let me check the cup" and sure enough, it was there. Pure luck, but I will take it. That is my one and only hole in one, and I have been playing golf for 35 years.
i wonder if anybody here has driven the green on a par 4 and made a hole in one for an albatross

I meant maybe it may be worth calling someone not that you would get in trouble.

I've never seen that even in a PGA tournament. But I have seen an albatross on a par-5, to the green/ hole out in 2.

But happens if somehow you hit one with your car?
How long have you owned a flying car and where did you buy it?
Posted on 1/26/25 at 12:12 pm to Trevaylin
Not even close. ~ 90% are 3 on a par 5.

Had a buddy hit an eagle one night. He was driving down a two lane and the eagle was on the road.
He didn’t kill it so he called DNR. The DNR came out and took it to a rescue and rehab facility but not before Mr. Eagle sunk his claws into the DNR guys hand.

We used to mix it up and play a round from the white tees. A few par 4s on my home course were easily driveable but there was a par 5 with a dogleg left that required going over water or maybe even trying to go over trees. The ladies tees wee on the other side of the water and there were no traps on the front of the green. A solid drive and roll had you chipping or maybe putting for 3-under.

Call LF7 for advice. He knows a thing or two about the subject.
