Probably close to the truth. Cleopatra was a known chemist and invented and experimented with many recipes for perfumes, drugs, and poisons.

Everyone of them looked like people taken over by alien beings. It is in the eyes and the slight odd, robotic mannerism. They have no soul, and you can tell it. The uncanny valley, if you will.

It does give you a glimpse of what they may have looked like in person. Probably a little better than most would have looked like, still I wonder how close it is?
