I wonder if this is the result of Ascension's laughably bad lowest bidder process that they use for all projects.

You think that they'd learn after years of subpar project performance that maybe it's better to pay a little more for better work and schedule.

That's mostly on the "other" side of the river. Can we just give Donaldsonville to another parish?

I’m sure they would take CF and the tax revenue associated with it.

Winning "low-bid" contractor says "We save you money. For example, why do these premium contactors use a expensive crane when a bucket truck can do the same task?"

I've been in that courthouse.

It was weird. They had an L-shaped courtroom where some people in the audience couldn't see the judge.

Is there anything historic about the courthouse other than it being old?

Just some light demolition to make way for another Korean BBQ joint.

I would have turned off the lift, slowly climbed out and quickly walked away.

It is. Word is this guy came in several hundred thousand dollars less than the next one. For some reason I guess that didn't raise a red flag? Idiots

Why is that guy on a construction site with shorts and no hard hat? Especially with bricks falling from the sky.
