She got confrontational. He got his back up a little in response.

For all anybody knows, the guy was just an amateur photographer taking a class. Not everything is a lurking threat. Granted, he could’ve just walked away. But she likely pissed him off and caused him to dig his heels in a little.

Im actually a little bit surprised he didn’t play the race card. It would’ve been interesting to see her response.

Maybe she did overreact but it’s understandable. Imagine everywhere you went people were trying to publish photos of your kids to get paid. It has to be exhausting. I know some celebrities are pushing to make it illegal to post pictures like that and I fully get it

But if it wasn't for the paparazzi, we wouldn't have had the pictures of her blowing her boyfriend after he proposed to her.

why is that so hard for you to believe? it’s a lot more far fetched to just automatically assume this dude is a creep taking pictures of kids playing football

I have a few questions.

Was this guy taking pictures and it just so happened to be Hilary Duff's kids?

Or was he taking pictures just because it is Hilary Duff's kids?

I doubt pictures of her kids are worth anything to tabloids so I am assuming he was just there taking pictures of kids, which one happens to be Hilary Duff's kids.

If you take the man at his word, he might have been trying to practice taking action shots or something.

At the same time, I can understand her being concerned and wanting to protect her kids. but she could have probably got better results if she handled it different.

frick that guy, I can’t imagine being famous and having to deal with that.

For almost everyone who becomes famous, it was a choice that they had to work really hard at. If they don't like the consequences, they should have thought twice before setting off on that road.

Paparazzi get paid thousands of dollars for pictures of celebrities kids. Are you really that obtuse to think the guy with that kind of lens is just taking pics of her kid to test his camera out? People that spend that kind of money on equipment for a photography hobby would never be that confrontational.

I get that you are reaching for an angle for the sake of argument but you are wrong

You can't be this stupid.

If he was up to no good do you think he would have been calm about some mother coming up to him with her phone in his face while she videos her exchange? He even offers to show her his ID.

He said he was practicing taking pictures. Based on how he responded what do you think is more likely?

- He was practicing taking action shots?

- He gets off on watching kids play soccer?

This is assuming he was taking pictures of kids playing soccer, who happened to include Hilary Duffs.

How dare her not taking that into consideration when she became a famous Disney preteen. I can’t believe so many of you don’t understand why a mom wouldn’t want pictures of her kids sold for profit and posted in Us Weekly.

Yet you entirely miss the point of my post and make it about getting off to taking pictures of kids. Again, Chris you are an idiot.

Paparazzi are paid a lot of money for these pictures. It’s not a difficult concept to understand. I shouldn’t have to explain this to you.

Find me a parent on this board that would be cool with his 7 year olds picture being sold for a profit and published worldwide

Pictures of celebrity kids are worth $0 if they are not in the public eye.

I can't imagine "See Hilary Duff's 7 year old play soccer" will draw more attention than.. Pretty much anything else.

Now if the headline was something like "See Post Malone Bag Hilary Duff in between cars at 7 year old's soccer practice" you would have something.

Dude, we get that that. And I’m all about that.

That being said, there’s no just indication that’s what’s happening here. The dude offered to show her his ID. If his pictures of her kid showed up somewhere, she’s got his arse.

I think Hillary’s just a bit paranoid because of the blowjob pics, myself. Again, I didn’t see anything indicating this guy even knew who she was.

Again, you’re a fricking moron. People magazine has a multiple page segment that features celebrities doing “Normal people” things.. this segment would love a picture of duff cheering on her kid playing soccer. You don’t know what you are talking about
