Hillary Duff should be happy someone still wants to take pictures of her or her family these days.

Quite the opposite in fact. She stepped back from Hollywood so she could get married and start a family.

Nah man, she was famous years ago so her family is fair game

I do enjoy how everyone is acting like a grown man taking pictures of children with a super zoom lens is totally normal though. Just when you think you have the boards mentality figured out, they go and flip the narrative

I've done it at my friend's kid's soccer game. I happened to get other kids in the photos too. Where is the line?

I wish the guy would have offered to give her copies of the photos. Maybe could have eased tensions.

I would love to see this boards reaction to a lone black guy with a telepho lens

I'd assume he was a legit photographer over a white guy with one. If a black dude invested in one, he has a passion for photography...a white dude has one, probably a 50/50 chance.

She's been on a TV show for the last 5 years.

It’s a game that your own child is playing in and you are taking pictures of your own child. Do you not understand the difference?

A show that currently airs on TV Land. Oooh. What a powerhouse network that is.

If you've relegated your career to TV Land and Hallmark...chances are you're not really looking for any high profile roles.

If someone asked you what you were doing with your 10x lens what would it be? I have a strange feeling you wouldn’t get defensive and offer to show them your ID

He isn’t taking pictures of her. It’s her kids. That’s fricked up.

The point is you're there with a friend and are taking pictures of your friend's kids with his/her assent. This guy was a total stranger, with no relations on the field, taking pictures of children.

A little strange, don't you think?

I'd say I'm taking photos of my friend's kids. But like I said, other kids happened to get in the shots. Those parents don't know me just like they don't know the guy in the video.

I’m not saying it’s right, but that’s a part of the deal when you’re an actor

When I saw his shiny new camera and telephoto lens, and then he said he was practicing, I 100% understand what he is doing.

I get the concern, but he was very reasonable and she kept amping things up.

But your friend does and he will be there to vouch for you if someone asks questions. How would you feel if some random guy, with no friend or family member at the park, just showed up out of the blue and started taking pictures of the children?

Would you start asking questions or let sleeping dogs lie? I'm willing to bet it would be the former.

But he has some legitimate reason to be taking the picture. If I’m at my kid’s game and someone is taking photos with their friend who has a kid playing, it’s a legitimate reason.

The guy in the OP is a fricking creep or paparazzi (no difference).

We really need stronger paparazzi laws in this country but it’s all women and queer’s faults because they gobble up that tabloid trash and live for Hollywood drama
