Researchers were delighted when an American badger in Utah was recorded on video late this winter frantically burying an entire calf over the course of several days. The badger worked continuously through days and nights to dig around and under the small cow carcass, until the tunnels it dug beneath it collapsed and the cow, more than three times the badger’s size, was entirely covered in dirt.

Little fricker looks cute in the pictures, but he'll rip your dick off I'd given half a chance.

I refuse to believe that cow only weighed 3 times the badger. Even if it was a baby cow, it still dwarfed the badger.

I wish you could train them.. You know, in case you ever need to hide a body.

Saw a National Geo show where a wolverine backed a badger into a corner and promptly got his arse tore up by the badger.

Wolverines and badgers are the same family. Wolverines are just larger.
Adult badgers typically range from 15 to 20 pounds while adult wolverines weigh between 20 and 40 pounds when fully grown.

I can't believe a badger could take on a wolverine?

American Badger =\= Honey Badger. The honey badger is a tiny little badass that is near impossible to kill. The skin on it's back is extremely tough and thick so it's hard to penetrate even with sharp teeth or man-made blades and points; it's skin is also very loose so that if the honey badger is grabbed it's back, it can still turn around and maul whatever is attacking it. Farmers in India hate the animals because the only way to kill them is to basically pin them down and shoot them in the head with a high powered rifle.
