The dude that was accosted at the mall by the group of female yuts and knocked one of them out was in Asheville. It was a long thread on here.

It's the racist police and the white privilege that caused this. No doubt.

Man, you know what’s crazy? White flight.

What a bunch of racists those whites are for not wanting to live around this.

The demographics are similar to BR, hence the crime rate is similar.

According to neighborhood scout, Montgomery' s crime rating is 50 while Baton Rouge's is 68. I've lived in both, and Montgomery is safer.

Asheville has very little violent crime. It's a unique place. The town is very cosmopolitan and the people are laid back. I would move back in a heartbeat. Western North Carolina does not have a large minority population.

Just checked out that site.

Montgomery:

Safer than 5% of U.S. Cities

Baton Rouge:

Safer than 2% of U.S. Cities

They're both in the bottom 5%. At that point it's really not worth arguing which one is worse.

If i understood him correctly, i think this had to do with some young guy not being happy about a grade he got in Calculus after working with a tutor. Maybe a 12 out of 20 or something.

I could be wrong...could have been North American Geography.

Think about how hopeless that situation is when their “leaders” are prioritizing grocery store and made up narratives like the white supremacy threat instead of doing anything

Then again, there’s really nothing to do I guess but profit
