I think Lil Baby is the one that James Harden bought all the honeybuns for.

I'd say most of my white male late 30's brethren share this rock.

I've listened to a few tunes from "Da Baby;" he's quite good. I'm not familiar with "Lil' Baby." Are the two affiliated? That's awfully confusing.

No, they don't. Dude is playing the Super Bowl, he's pretty damn well known.

Found the deafener.

Do you realize that their music was not seen as high culture back in their time?

Listen to the intracacies of their compositions and compare it to modern music and tell me you don't see a depressing decline.

razy Lil Baby made more than Taylor Swift after all the albums Taylor released this year.

Her second album just came out, so it can’t have sold that many yet

I always laugh on here when people on the OT say "I have no clue who this ridiculously famous person is"...

But I have no clue who Lil Baby is.

The only one I know of is swift and her music is shite. Back to loving my 70s-90s music.

I'll be honest, I'd never heard of them either. Only Taylor Swift out of that list. That doesn't necessarily mean I haven't heard a song of theirs but I couldn't name one.

I stay fairly unplugged from pop culture for the most part. I don't think I could name a single current TV show on network television either.

Biggest thing this tells me is that the RIAA still has no fricking clue how to monetize music 25 years after the internet went mainstream.

Mariah Carey's debut album came out in 1991 and was 9x Platinum by 1999:

9 million copies
x $15/album
= $135 million in sales

That one album would be #5 on this list for its performance in every single year of the 90s, on average.

Taylor Swift was the only artist with a platinum album in 2019. Alleged big acts like Harry Styles and Ariana Grande couldn't even hit 500k.

Black celebrities just throw on the weirdest clothes and jewelry and call it fashion.

I’ll never understand why they dress the way they do

I listen to various music genres, including hip hop/rap, but I've never heard of Pop Smoke and I've only heard of Juice Wrld because he died, I don't know any of his music.
