Yeah, if there had only been the first hit, maybe you get away with that.

They targeted. But that aside, that was a weird place for him to line up. Aren't they usually right behind the backers.
I bet there were several times when they complained he was too deep and unfortunately, took things into their own hands.
I say no way they were on their own with this.....it will surface that a coach was part of this.

Yup. I wanted to believe the first guy just didn't see him or something.. but then the other safety intentionally dives into the ref.. and it's obvious it was the ref he was diving into at that point.. makes you believe they both had this planned. This is awful. If found intentional then they should be kicked off football for the season. Period.

I missed this.
If this is why then they need to be kicked out of high school football for the year. There's always going to be what you perceive as a bad call just about every game. Especially at the high school level.

I see people speculating if this was intentional. The film says it all this was on purpose. Both players should be barred from ever playing High School athletics again. The head coach and position coach should be immediately suspended and the program investigated. Even if these players went rogue on there own. I find it hard to believe that they would do it while being part of a program that is being run properly.
