Watch a vet show on TV. They bring in a Chihuahua for walking unsteady and being lethargic with dilated pupils. Vet does a urine check. Instant positive for THC. He said it must have invested a brownie, edible or joint. Poor gut was high as a kite. (Which was funny and sad at the sane time. Even the vet was cracking jokes )

But my real question is, as a pet owner, how do you not figure that out? And how are you careless enough to leave out something like that where your pet could get ahold of it?

Guess that why I have pets but don't do any drugs/alcohol other than caffeine.

They don’t figure it out because they are just as “stoned” as the dog is?

one of my dogs is addicted to coconut oil. She can sniff out a drop of it no matter where she is. We make cannabis infused coconut oil and use it for lots of things, my wife uses it for skin care.

she left a small jar on the bathroom counter and the dog found it and ate it all. She was pretty much stoned for a couple of days but fine thereafter…she slept a lot

It happened once it won’t happen again. The dog is fine. THC is not a toxin to any animal and you cannot OD on it. We gave her a high dose of CBD to counteract the THC and she slept it off

I used to give my little dog some beer now and then. He was hilarious when we were both drunk.
I never should have given him the keys to that car though.
