Its funny how "shite happens" until that shite happens to you and it wasn't your fault. Of course, there wouldn't be a lawsuit if there was no way to collect on the judgment.

Paltrow is a tedious erudite over the hill jewish princess, but it's a ski slope. People run into each other all the time. She's only getting sued because of who she is.

I understand accidents happen but a witness testified that she bolted away and she said she was famous. That's the part I cannot agree with. We don't have royalty in this country and people must be responsible for their actions.

Your the dumb arse how is there any negligence when the actual sport is about slipping and sliding down a mountain that either has fresh powder that allows minimal control or artificial snow “ice” there is very limited and at some point absolutely zero control you just ride the lightning and make the best of the situation your in.

All depends on the slope and the turns and the tree cover but you have obviously never been skiing or snowboarding on a halfway decent mountain or you would laugh at your own comment. No way any individual can be held liable for a impact on the side of a mountain while skiing

Dude, it's about how she blasted the poor bastard from behind, then leaving...

If someone hits you from behind in a vehicle in the rain, then bolts, it's OK because it was raining?

Pretty sure you're responsible for your actions while on a slope. If she can't control herself, bitch shouldn't be skiing.

Recently watched Great Expectations (1998) after a gazillion years and she was so damn fine in that one.

She apparently is a shitty skier and ran him over, didn’t apologize or shite, and he thought he was ok but then ended up with brain damage etc maybe from fall.

That’s good enough for me, witnesses are laniappe. I find for the nice old doctor and against the pussy candle bitch for 3 million just because

How the frick is anyone able to sue another person on a ski slope?!!

You have a responsibility to stay in control and obey signs, ect

Somebody comes full send into a learner area and kills your kid in a collision because they were skiing too fast and out of control...

you dont think that person should be sued for their negligence?

I don’t think the average person gets this but it doesn’t make any damn difference whether you want to settle a case admit it’s your fault etc. it’s all yo the insurance company in 90% of the cases. Most of the cases I have had to try the individual defendant would have settled easily, always the insurance company didn’t want to pay.

I have a case right now where a guy decided to go get his buddy who was down recovering from an accident out of the house and go to hunting camp and he ended up accidentally shooting him. 100k meds 150 k lost wages alone and he has significant permanent disability rating. The shooting friend has 200k in coverage max. Defense has admitted complete liability, offer to date nothing.

They will pay limits at last possible moment
