Which is an ACTUAL first amendment violation. Louisiana civil service rules shouldn't override the constitution. It's horse shite that you can't express a political opinion in your free time.
It pains me that someone of your intelligence has a vote which carries the same weight as my own.
It is not a violation of your first amendment. Jesus Horatio Christ.

Given the definition of liberal, that’s not really surprising.
Liberal
1. willing to respect or accept behavior or opinions different from one's own; open to new ideas.
2.relating to or denoting a political and social philosophy that promotes individual rights, civil liberties, democracy, and free enterprise.

No full time law school professor has ever impressed me. Ivory tower prima donnas. The part time ones were much better since they dealed with the real world.

Radicalizing students to the far left is absolutely by design. These people can’t wait to get their hands on your kid’s mailable brains to mold and shape them, and that’s just what they do. This country is a mirror reflection of that shaping of opinions from the bully pulpits of academia.

Should have heard some of the shite our Sociology 101 prof at SLU said about Bush. Tenured professor, spent 70% of his classes ranting about current politics - one of the worst rated profs at SLU on ratemyprofessor and the University couldn't touch him because of his tenure.

Maybe your vote should be weighted a little less than mine since you clearly don't know what you're talking about. A government employee being fired for political speech in their free time is a blatant first amendment violation. It would fail a Pickering test in a heartbeat. Even the Hatch Act only covers what feds do in their official capacity.
I'm catching down votes because a bunch of slack jaws who can't hold 2 thoughts at the same time think I'm referring to the law professor, but I'm not. I'm specifically responding to GreenRock about civil servants being fired for private political views, which is wrong. Working for the government doesn't mean you're never allowed to wear a MAGA hat again. Or at least it shouldn't. I expect Louisiana to lose a lawsuit at some point and be forced to relax their civil service rules

Why do leftist teachers and professors have to spout their political opinions during what is supposed to be class time? He’s supposed to be teaching his students criminal law, not political ideology.
Most people I know with Post-baccalaureate degrees are narcissistic. As if anyone who applied themselves couldn’t do the same.

LOL at College professors realizing they can't just do whatever they want and are expected to act like professionals.

Same with the Bar association (and AMA for that matter).
Both probably need to be replaced or rebuilt from the ground up.

“Your” president just logged an all time low approval rating and you’re trotting Kamala — after not being nominated — out there to run and you’re surprised Trump won? Read the room, pal…
Your lack of basic common sense isn’t a glowing reflection on LSU Law.

Your feelings are hurt. I found a narcissist with an “advanced” degree.
However, if a fatass decided to seriously workiout, they would definitely improve.
