This is objectively incorrect and betrays a fundamental misunderstanding of how IQ numbers are set. The scoring is intentionally calibrated for 100 to be the median. Period. Half of the scored population should be above 100 and half should be below. Anytime that starts to get offset, they re-calibrate 100 so that is once again true. If you captured every person below an IQ of 100, the next time they re-calibrated the test, half of the people who were previously above 100 would now be below 100. That's literally how it works.
In any given year, you will have people testing smarter than you, but you are also testing with the entire group.
I've offered many times here to test my IQ against another blowhard as a money challenge (I'm a degenerate). No one has taken me up yet.
