Nope. Wouldn't live there for anything. You can if you like, but not me.

$78,000 a year to live in SF isn't enough for me either. Sorry.

Again, have you been there before? I understand the politics and weird arse culture are offputting, but it is one of the best cities in America for food, music, museums, scenery, and general quality of life.

Makes some people uncomfortable. I get it. I 'll take crazy arse San Fran, NYC, NOLA stuff. Not all people are urban people. No worries from me.

Sounds like a fantastic place visit.

I went to Chicago last month for several days for the Dead shows, and I'll say that Chitown gives SF a run for its money, though its scenery is nowhere near as nice.

I too was in Chicago for the July 4th weekend Dead shows
I concur with your observation HH ..... CHI downtown, the river, and Lake Michigan were nice , but definitely not the GG bridge and Bay Area

If I ever moved to SF, I'd tell all my neighbors the same thing:
"I want the rest of you cowboys to know something, there's a new sheriff in town. And his name is Soccerfüt. So y'all be cool. Right on."
