Use it as aftershave.

Try a different blade. The feathers are really sharp but they dull quicker too meaning you can't get as many shaves out of them. So try a different blade or swap them out more often.

Good point. I only use feathers, but I can really only get three shaves out of them, at the most.

shave slower, change your blade frequently and use a woman's shave gel like (skintimate). the woman's shave gel is the most important. pussy

American Crew Ultra Gliding Shave Oil
I first heard about it here a couple years ago. Amazing stuff. Even prevents razor bumps on your nether regions.

This is what I use and it has helped a lot. I went to an old school razor. I shave every other day. I bought a huge amount of blades so I change them regularly. I also use an after shave balm.

I had terrible in-grown hairs, this helped.

You might try shaving in the shower with the water running on your face. I do that with no products and have no issues. Good luck!

Dont act like a bleeder. Use tee tree oil after the shave. I have really had razor rash since I started using it after every shave about 6 months ago.

Shave in the hot shower. If that doesn't do the trick, grow beard.

Push his balls back with your free hand, that way they don't rub your chin

First and foremost, is the razor blade sharp? I typically change out a fresh razor after every five or six shaves.

Do you know how to properly use and handle a safety razor? Make sure you are putting as little pressure as possible....it should glide over the skin. Are you going with the grain, against the grain?

Also, I personally always apply an alum block to my face after I shave.

Which direction are you shaving?

I can only shave my chin with sideways passes.

Slap some conditioner on for a few minutes as a pre shave

That is an aggressive razor/razor blade combo, and to me, the chin is a difficult place to get the angle perfect. I would also try a different cream, I didn't see if you are using red, green or blue Proraso (blue is for sensitive skin), but I would try something else - TOBS Jermyn Street is a good sensitive skin cream, but finding a cream that works for you can be frustrating. I also use King of Shaves Kinexium pre-shave oil before the cream. My razor is Merkur long-handle and my favorite blades are Astra Superior Platinum and Wilkinson Sword Blue- middle of the road as far as aggressiveness goes and I find my skin does very well with this combo.
