Because they've been told their entire lives that they are the cause of all the world's problems. Self hate is ingrained into their pea brains.

He's got a few good ones in there.

I particularly like "kowtow" and "untrammeled"

Aren't we? All the Boomers say so.

I've raised a couple of millennial's (one with a graduate degree and one working on under-grad) and damned if they will kowtow to anyone or spend a single red cent to subsidize stupidity.

Most of them have never held real jobs, paid taxes, or had interactions with shall we say the troublemakers. Their parents probably pay majority of their bills and solve their problems. What self respecting hard working person with a job is going to destroy public property during the middle of a work day?

Well, technically, I think I may fall within certain definitions of "millenials," or just outside of it. But I disagree. I would like to see examples of other generations who were so ready to condemn themselves

Social media gave every moron a voice that didn't previously have one. And yes, I realize this is a form of it, although mostly anonymous.

I don't really see this behavior with the 30 something crowd as much as the 25 and below. It's not all of them but a certain percentage seem to enjoy sharing "I hate white people" posts on Facebook or wherever like it earned them some hipster popularity points.

Ok sweetie, go move to New Orleans East. Problem solved.

Considering the average millennial is in their 30s, I'd say you're full of shite.

To be clear, it is not all millenials, only a portion

Thank you so much for being clear on this, otherwise I would have proceeded in thinking that truly every single millennial did this...

I mean it wasn’t super race centered but the hippie movement in the 60’s certainly shares a lot of similarities.

Also, if you think millennials are bad wait till you meet Gen Z

News flash: Older millenials are mid-30s or approaching 40 with families and businesses.

The majority of them that are this way were raised by boomers who protested in the 60's, found themselves in the 70's, became a corporate ladder climber in the 80's, healed their inner child in the 90's- became a parent in their 40's. When they became parents were too ME ME ME by that point to be anything other than a politically correct, competitive person who pushed little Billy to be in every sport, play, and artistic endeavor at school. It did not matter if little Billy wanted to do this, or was good at it, It was all about their parent's ego- and the participation trophy at the end.

Their kids are lost, they spew politically correct garbage left and right, they have no real identity, they are just a copy of their empty self entitled parents.

This will not end well.

I lived in San Francisco in the 90's with a ton of these "parents". They were vacuous twits. I am generation x. Taught my kids how to work, how to be responsible, how to kick butt, and not take any crap from anyone. I also taught them to be kind, generous, and the value of an education.

My kids are gen z, which is what these kids are. My kids are rare ones-- most of their friends are just like the kids mentioned.

It's not as rare as your generation or those before say that it is. JS.

That’s some fancy 6 dollar words there you surly, scuttling sack of solipsistic simpleton.
