The 2.7L turbo max on the Chevy Colorados and GMC Canyons seem pretty good 2023 onward so far.
Would recommend if you don't need full size or heavy towing capacity.

You WILL NOT carry 4 people comfortable in a frontier
My oldest has a 24 model pro 4x and the back seat is horrible to ride in. He uses back seat for storage and friends he doesn’t like to ride. haha
Other than that the truck is awesome so far and pulls my tandem axle bass boat flawlessly.

I have 2012 F150 with 220k
Drive Loaded Tundra at work
Would take the drive of the Ford all day vs the Tundra. Its clunky size makes for shite turning radius. Also doesn’t feel like a truck.
Gas mileage on the other hand..
If I was buying today would get a not fully loaded f150 again,

I like the Pro-4x but I cant get over all the red accents on the exterior and interior. Its too much.

I watched a video comparing the Tacoma and the Ridgeline last night. I'm pretty well convinced my growing teenage boys will not fit in the rear of anything less than a full sized truck now, which is what I've always driven. The Ridgeline looks like a good retirement age truck, but not family of 4 sized.

Speaking of unnecessary add ons, there are two I skip.
Sunroofs. They all eventually leak. Not worth it.
Retracting running boards. I want those down at all times. Door ding protection.

If you get an F150 look at 2023 or newer. That gets you the “fixed” tranny drum and if you get a 3.5 the repaired cam phasers. I don’t know about the new ones.

I've got 97 K on mine and all I have done is change the oil and tires.
As I mentioned in the You Tube thread, I replaced the Gas Level sensor.

I've never been a RAM guy, and I still don't think it's a very attractive truck. But I have a '25 with the 3.0 i6 and it's the smoothest truck ride I've ever been in.
I don't know why other mfgs don't put coil spring rear suspension on their 1/4 tons because it's a revelation.

Had to put my 2014 Silverado out to pasture a couple of months ago…last kid at home is starting to drive so didn’t need full-size anymore for backseat riders. Went with a 2026 Frontier SV 4x4 Dark Armor package. I didn’t like the red/orange accents in the Pro-X versions. Too loud for my tastes.
Passed the first test as I fit everything I normally do for tailgating. Backseat is tight but not worth the extra 10k for a full size for my needs.
So far, so good. Enjoying the truck.

The new gen RAMs are beautiful in my opinion from a body style perspective

What do you use your truck for? Purpose goes a long way in determining what’s best for your needs.

Just got a 2026 Toyota Tacoma just like this that I'm very pleased with.
ETA- mine is all blacked out though.
