The English word for pout in French sounds like bobbin. How is it spelled?

Somebody used the word bobbin and I asked what that meant. They said to pout with the bottom lip poking out.

What you're saying is bah-bin. That's kinda like the facial expression of boodaying. A sad face, if you will.

I mean, it's all somewhat interchangeable. If someone says " look at the babbin' on his face", I'm gonna know he's pouting because his bottom lip is poking out.

My Cajun family said that when I was a kid. "Aw, a fit lah pain", poor bae bae, he's making a bah bin. As your post implies there are a lot of Cajun French phrases and words I know how to pronounce but don't know how to spell them and write them.
