You’ve gotta be kidding me. A few of the items suggested:

1. Decrease number of trick or treating hours from 2 hours down to one hour.

2. Encourage residences to leave out a candy bowl to avoid “face to face” trick or treating

3. Limit trick or treating to ages 5-8.

4. Encourage kids to wear masks if their costume doesn’t already have one. (Which is )

Have any of y’all heard this too? I guess Halloween is almost officially “cancelled.”

Lol at them thinking Kung Flu will still be a thing on October 31

With the numbers we have now it will be over by the end of September if not earlier.

It’s absurd. Everyone just wear a face covering and you’ll be fine. That’s what we’ve been told for months now.

Yeah, this should go over well with the urban folks who go to the nicer neighborhoods

Family still lives there. But I wouldn’t say I’m necessarily “mad.”

This is fricking stupid. What about younger siblings? Why can't a 4 year old go trick or treating. Are they going to check id? Do we need ID to trick or treat but ID to vote is racist?

I have a rule that actually makes sense- "stay in your own neighborhood."

They’re trying to limit the number of people on the street.

Trick or treating is already the most socially distanced activities/holidays there is. People are at their own homes handing out candy, kids in masks walking in groups of 10 or less, candy is already wrapped. GTFO here with this bullshite.

Can't think of anything more sanitary than a bunch of snotty nosed kids digging their hands in a community candy bowl.

How about you go trick or treating if you want to.
If you are scared, stay your arse inside and turn the porch light off.

I think i can say with certainty that regardless of what is said, there will be normal trick or treating in my neighborhood for the most part. People decorate more for Halloween than Christmas in my neighborhood.
