POLK COUNTY, Iowa — A metro family is sharing one final joke with their late father, but not everyone is laughing.
Carved in the stone is epitaph:

Forever in our hearts,
Until we meet again,
Cherished memories
Known as

Our son, brother,
Father, papa, uncle,
Friend & cousin

However, due to careful spacing of the type, the phrase “F*** OFF” can be found by reading the first letter of each line vertically.

I don't see what the big deal is. You can't even read it. The first letters are all blurry.

There were multiple male ponytails in attendance at that funeral.

Not saying I would want this specific epitaph on my headstone but does anybody have a sense of humor anymore?

That's an awful photoshop job. The joke is older than it is stupid.

That is silly. I just want a normal headstone and funeral.

But with a band that plays '80 era funk and a hired actor who looks exactly like me, dressed in the same type suit I'm wearing in the coffin who walks around at the funeral and thanks people for coming.

When it’s finally over,
And my time has come to pass,
Bury me upside down
So the world can kiss my arse

In a graveyard not far from where I grew up is Damian's grave. It has an upside-down cross and the words "This is not goodbye, just so long." The legend we always heard as kids was that on Devil's Night (the night before Halloween) years ago four men visited the grave and vandalized the headstone. The fourth man felt guilty and condemned the actions and he was the only one that made it home that night—the other three died in a car accident. Not long ago a new improved headstone was placed there with the same words.
