You cry yourself to sleep every night, alone. Don't you?

Yea, I'll never understand why people think it's a good idea to get married at such a young age

I'd never try to talk anyone out of it, but it's just foolish IMO

I was 27 which I thought was really young, but we were together for 7 years, through college, through 3 cities, and through several jobs each.

And we lived together for 2 years before even getting engaged and bought a dog together to litmus test each other's responsibility level

So far so good through 2 years of marriage!

They don't change, they just can't hide their true selves.

I dated my wife for 4 years before we lived together and I learned more about her in the first 6 months of that then I did in the first 4 years of dating

Thank god it was mostly good stuff and we were really compatible roommates.

Plus their old ladies don't want them hanging out with you, cause they're worried they might get the taste of freedom I guess.

And FYI, that's not why they don't go out.

They probably had their 20's. I'm 29 and married with no kids and am just now getting to the point where on weekends I'd rather cook a good meal or go out to dinner with my wife, go home, have a couple night caps watching HBO on the couch, and going to bed before midnight.

I can't do the going out and getting shitfaced with my friends 2-3 nights a week anymore. Its too exhausting and hangovers are getting too bad.

Point is, its not their wives doing that to them in most cases even if they blame it on them, its their maturity.

This is what I want. The current gf is 100% against living together prior to marriage.

I lost more than half my shite.
I lost my mind, my dog, my good credit. I didn't really gaf about losing house decoration shite or bedroom suits. It took a couple years, but I got myself dug out of that hole. For a while, I was definitely living the college life again.

Sounds interesting at face value. Not sure if I'd want my wife to go out drinking with people she's never met in person, but to each their own I guess.

You seriously would feel threatened by your wife going to a happy hour/trivia night with a group of all women?? It's not like a dating thing....it's women trying to make friends with other women their age.

I have a friend who I went to college. He was a cool guy to hang out with and he had opportunities to hook up.

He started his own business in Ohio and did not get married until he was 41 years old. He just had his third child and Joe is now approaching 47 years old. He is physically active and enjoying life.

Yea all the stories from single guys saying their friends are jealous of them getting to go out to bars and drink and shite.

Nah. They most likely could do things like that, they just like their SO/wife a lot more than you.

It's not just getting hammered. It's that you can go to the gym, fish, hunt, play golf, etc. whenever you want.

Again I'd say that's 15 or 20% "the ole ball and chain" and 80-85% that the guy would just prefer to hang out with his wife than do those things.

People's interests and priorities change over time. Shocking, I know. He's just not that into you.
