My cousin had his wedding at a plantation because his wife is from New York. They both loved it. As for me, it was the best wedding I've ever been to. As far as racism goes, I think people are just trying to find an excuse for things to be racist.

My dad doesn't even consider Puerto Ricans to be Spanish. He says they speak English better than they speak Spanish.

I've never seen a bigger hatred than Puerto Ricans and Cubans. But yeah, the Mexicans do hate them and can't understand Puerto Ricans most of the time because they talk so fast and use a totally different type of slang.

I know a few Guatemalan-Mexican and even El Salvadorian-Mexican weddings. That doesn't mean that there are not tensions and general disdain between the people of these countries for the most part.

So we have this green pea from a small town in the southwest, who's never been anywhere or seen anything declaring her superior knowledge and advocacy on issues she's never experienced oh, and she'll bang you.
It gets taken seriously and discussed by a much wider audience than it should deserve...there's our problem.
