Ok. shite happens. How about we sometimes post about the good times that you have in the city instead of everyone always coming here to shite on things.

I mean, this would be a feel good story if it wasn’t for the fricking criminals.

Woman goes to pick up dinner for family to have a nice night in.

Gets shot at.

Wtf? People need to know to keep their head in a swivel everywhere here.

It’s funny that the people from Baton Rouge think that doesn’t happen there. It’s probably per capita a greater chance of it happening there.

I’d have to look at the numbers, but car jacking and property crime is way up in Nola. At levels never seen before.

Now murder in br yes. But I still would guess their are more shootings here.

This is a shooting but no one was killed.

This is an area lined with shops, bars and restaurants. People walking up and down the street all day. Br doesn’t have an area like this.

I haven’t heard of a failed car jacking followed by a shooting in front of a popular restaurant in BR in awhile

Luckily, she was ducking as she sped off. The move very likely saved her life.

That’s some solid stunt driving on her part. She made a perfect turn while ducking as her windows were being shot out.

She must be a NOLA native. Had her head in a swivel like they tell you.

When George Soros picks your DA and criminal sheriff, this is what happens. Meanwhile the Karens who run the city are more worried about making sure a kid can't get a Coke with a happy meal.

We need to stand up a gang of crime fighting vigilantes.

Just remember that they took Cops and Live PD off air because of lack in diversity. IOW, truth hurts.

Fed, stop feeding the trolls........

ETA: Glad the woman is OK. It very well may take some type of vigilantism to get things going in the right direction.

I went to that new Rouses at 6pm yesterday. Driving out I was really realizing how much nicer the homes are starting to look between Claiborne and freret. They are getting cleaned up for sure.

The crime in br is very localized. You walk about 1000 feet from st Charles Avenue and you're buying crack on the corner.

Does it really matter how nice the homes are if you are getting shot at in a parking lot?
