Squatters have taken over these MODERN buildings in downtown LA and they have marked (Tagged) their spots!

Nothing to see here - just a bunch of Illegals and Squatters taking over our country with a HOSTILE takeover.

Carry on and don't forget to pay your Netflix subscription!

That's real art. An expression of the streets. Check your privilege.

Graffiti looks like shite. Only in a few select places does it pass.

Well sonofabitch. That is so absurd, I was sure it was photoshopped.

Of all the places I have to visit for work, Los Angeles features one of the most obvious declines since the pandemic. Most places have gotten worse (even the Texas cities and smaller towns like Baton Rouge, OKC, and Birmingham have gotten worse), but for some reason Los Angeles' homeless and vagrant problem has exploded to a level that is impossible to ignore.

Other notable cities whose downtowns that have declined rapidly: Minneapolis and San Francisco

I assume the come on is referencing the squatter claim… even your link doesn’t indicate that squatters have taken over the buildings. That’s the harder portion to buy. Certainly possible in today’s crazy world, but it’s pretty rare for squatters to take over major corporate buildings… they usually target individual home owners who have a lot less power to fight it.

I would imagine that the law in California these days even makes it hard for corporations to evict the squatters.

It's risky. Most individual homeowners would burn the house down before they'd let a squatter stay there. Admit it....you'd be tempted.

Luckily it takes maybe 24-48 hours max to have the Sherriff take out the trash in this area around evictions. It won't take long before all of their shite is out by the curb. I'm sure it's very different in California.

Squatters rarely tag. These are street artists who are breaking in.

I noticed this when I cut through downtown a few weeks ago. For a moment, I thought it was intentional.

Builder spends millions and makes a beautiful addition to La skyline.

Scum ruin the area then take over the building for free. #democrats
