have you ever whiffed a golf ball?

I did it for the first time tonight in my golf league. I pulled my head up hard for some reason and completely missed the ball. There was a loud swoosh followed by lots of laughs. It feels bad guys.

No, act like you didn't mean to and someone messed up your swing so you pulled up.
You can swing again without costing you a stroke.

I don't recall doing it after very early junior golf honestly. I've hit a couple of toe shots off the tee marker as an adult though. Either are miraculous feats.

Yep, had 3 Miller Hi-lifes before I went to the course. When I actually made contact on the 2nd swing, the result wasn't a whole lot better.

Yup, had never played a round, only driving range, got volunteered to go play with our Wing Commander in a golf tourney. Walked up, wiffed hard first tee shot. Rest of the day went about the same

I don't remember the last time I actually whiffed at the ball, but I can tell you I have about 10 shots per round that I wish I would have.

Of course. I'd rather do that than just barely hit the top of the ball and it go two yards. I can't control my up and down worth a shite.

I mistook this for "have you ever wiffed a wiffleball?" And the sad answer is yes
