It seems more normal for a girl to date the ‘bad boy’ in an attempt to change or mold him, but I’ve known some cucks in my day that date the bad girl, slutty girl, or whatever in an attempt to help her change.

These relationships always seem volitile and over dramatic. Have you known any success stories esp where the nice guy helps the bad girl for the better?

My ex wife tried to change me and stop me from drinking so much. Then she left and life is good

Lead someone to Christ.

Didn’t know it until they told me years later.

Men want women to stay the same as when they marry them. Women want men to change to how they want them.

I have seen some men change, not in a bad way, because of the lifestyle change. They want to change because of marriage and kids. I think we all do to an extent.

It’s so frickin hard to permanently change yourself.

Even if it something simple like eating habits to lose and keep off 20 pounds.

To imagine now that you can change somebody else, is pure fantasy.

Their permanent change is not up to you.

Nah, ain't worth the effort. If you aren't happy with how they are just move on.

I need to take my own advice.

You can’t change someone. All you can do is change your behavior and hope that your influence and behavior can change their perception and then change themselves.

At the end of the day, it’s their choice and their decision. If you don’t agree with it, you can put boundaries in place and make sure they have consequences to protect yourself.

The problem is when you give your opinion, you’re telling that person that what you have to say is more important than what they have to say ... and they’ll usually rebel, do the opposite of what you would like for them to do or shut down, depending upon their personality traits.

I'm trying to change a couple of posters on this board from fatass to less of a fatass. Will report back with progress.

Change comes from within. You may be able to open someone's eyes to areas where change would benefit them. But ultimately it comes down to a personal choice to make a change.

You can't change others. You can help to enlighten them however where they'll seek change. It's done be action, not words

My wife says I have changed her for the better, I know she has changed me for the better. But neither entered into the relationship with that intention nor actively tried to do that.
