The girl with the limp needs to quit. She was out at 7 am just last Wednesday and looked like she badly needed a fix. The limp is an act. The heroin crave is not. I wish she was able to get REAL help. Every dumbass who rolls down their window and hands her a buck might as well be getting high with her.

No. Never. Never had someone ask me for money because they ran out of gas in the Albertson's parking lot. Never saw one waiting for a red light then going to each car that's stopped. Never had someone ask me for $5 at the shell gas station and I bet most people haven't either.

I remember one day I was at the off ramp at College... and I actually didn’t see a panhandler. It was significant because it was the first time in about two years that I didn’t see a beggar at that spot on my drive home. As I marveled at what an unusual day it was... I looked to the left and saw a panhandler waddling his way to his spot, sure enough. I had only caught the shift change. Not an actual Day Without a Panhandler.

Cute limp girl has a boyfriend that is in "the life" too. She ranges from Sherwood at Fla to many locations, Bluebonnet,etc..The skinny blonde guy with the black gf and baby stroller with toddler, the red headed guy working the parking lots around College Dr, Staring at Highland, etc..
All are heroin junkies and well know each other from one end of the town to the other.
One of them admitted as much to me when panhandling me a year ago.

I was getting off of 10 westbound a few weeks ago and there was a kid out there with a sign and a bike. Couldn’t have been more than 11. Cop stopped on his way up the on ramp and told him to leave. I was sad for the kid and angry at whomever is responsible for turning him into a beggar.

My favorite one of all is the bald black woman around Staring and Perkins but she doesn't beg. She talks to imaginary people and smokes Kools. I just wonder how she mixes in with the others.

I was approached Saturday in a parking lot on College Dr. He asked me for money and I just looked at him like he was from Mars. I said not one word to him and got into my car. He started yelling at me calling me rude etc. Hahaha.

I have started getting the jump on them and asking if they can spare $5 when they walk up. They get really confused.
