My father was a Texas Ranger and US Marshall in the central Texas area when Bush was President. He was invited to brunch one morning at the Crawford ranch and my parents invited me to go because I was at Baylor at the time.
I got shitfaced the night before and showed up 45 minutes late and walked into the dining room with every person in that place staring at me and shook W’s hand along with everyone else.
It was a good time, but I’m pretty sure my parents will never forgive me for that. I was definitely a retard and regret it.
