While in high school , classmate called his dad to help him with a dead battery. Both parents showed up and he killed them both. Kid was upset his parents wouldn't buy him a car.

Not me but two of my sons haloed a guy who wrecked his car right near our house. They took him home and he was a funny guy and had a great personLity. 3 weeks later the guy killed his family and drove off and committed suicide after a drug binge. He lived less than a mile from our house.

I met Janzen Jackson a few times.

Did he ever go to trial? I googled, but only found the article from last December saying he was awaiting trial.

I also found NFL bio that said he is currently a free agent...guess that is a little outdated.

I know a guy who was drunk driving and killed someone on a motorcycle. I had met the victim as well. He pled to involuntary manslaughter.

I've met a few prisoners who had killed someone, but that seems different since I didn't know them before they did it.

I grew up around gangs, so several guys I grew up with are in jail for murder. The gang life just never appealed to me, something I'm very grateful for.

"Killed someone" or "Murdered someone"...

...big difference.
