I probably bought 30 of them over 2 years living in Shenzhen. I would always be leaving them at work or somewhere else and then it would just pour rain for hours out of no where, but no worries, there was always an elderly Ayi selling them outside the metro station for like fifteen kuai

Who buys an umbrella anyway? You can get them for free at the coffee shop in those metal cans.

I have never bought an umbrella. In fact I don’t think I have ever even had an unnumbered adult life. I know for sure I don’t have one now. Not sure it’s something I have ever given any thought to prior to this thread.

True story my wife and I were kicked out of a concert a few years back and when I went to grab my beloved Cadillac umbrella that my uncle gave me, someone had stolen it.

Therefore I proceeded to grab a massive pile of umbrellas and carry them all back to the car.

The one in my truck I got from an off campus book store at LSU, can't remember the name but it was in the same parking lot as the original walk ons. I have smaller one for traveling that I got from a mall in Singapore.

There’s one in my golf bag. So yes.
