Some friends of mine went probably 12 - 13 years ago. It was one guys first strip club experience and he creamed his pants. They made him sit there the rest of the night in his own goo. 
As far as the convention itself, as I understand it, they went around, got pictures with the actresses and that’s pretty much it.

A friend of mine used to manage security for those expos. He saw alot of shite, and always tried to get me to come out to one of them. Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, I was seriously dating a girl for the few years he was doing it. The risk was not worth the reward, as I would not have been comfortable sleeping around her ever again.

Pasties for the most part. You’ll see titties occasionally but the ones you wanna see like Asa Akira or Madison Ivy are dressed up and charging $5 for a photo op.

To add to the two before me, I was in LV for the SEMA show and AVN was going on across town as the Hard Rock. One of my coworkers really wanted to go. I rode over there with him but no way I was paying to go into the convention. I did sit in the casino bar just outside though. I was curious what kind of people go to a porn convention. EST time ever. The weird people in that bar made my trip. The porn people were what you would expect but the attendees. Hollleyy shitteee! Weirdest collection of dudes ever.

Some guys I know (we hang out like twice a year) were going and wanted me to join. They were acting like it’s the greatest trip in the world. Come to think of it that’s the last time we hung out...

I’ve never been to the convention but me and some buddies used to go hit up the bars at the Hard Rock during the convention. At night the Hard Rock bars just fill with little porn bunnies. Great for networking.
