Have you ever been isolated?

I heard several people went into isolation intentionally in order to break dependence on technology.

I wouldn’t call it isolation, but I backpack for days at a time with no cell service and sometimes only my dog.

Last winter spent a few days at the cottage in Northern Wisconsin, no cell service and no internet. Spent the majority of the time outside on the UTV.

I spent a month up on my family land without a phone/internet. Was absolutely amazing.
