Only once
I was blackout drunk at a bar in my hometown while visiting friends for my 21st birthday. I got startled by a tranny that approached me and tried to put it’s hand on my shoulder so I punched him/her in the mouth. The tranny ended up not wanting to press assault charges but I still got charged with PI anyway.
shite got dismissed in court

Yes, I didn’t run or fight back so I didn’t get the shite beat out of me or shot. Amazing how that works

Being in a cell, even if for a few hours, was quite a humbling experience. Safe to say I learned my lesson afterwards
Yep, spent 38 hours in county. That was enough for me. I LOVE my freedom.

Y'all some trashy mother frickers itt.
All the posts that say "nope, never been arrested" are collecting the downvotes as if not being arrested is against the norm.

18yrs old. MIP on Bourbon St., the Saturday night of Mardi Gras. Total BS. Was just walking down the street drinking a beer and they grabbed me from behind. Had to be in court in NOLA on Wednesday am following Mardi Gras. Paid fine. Done.

Once, a very long time ago...
I was around 23 years old living with some College buddies in a house in Roswell (Ga). We were supposed to go to the Falcons game one Sunday so I decided to leave the house early to go get a biscuit for breakfast before we left for the stadium. I turned on to a road ( I think it was Haynes Bridge Rd) and accelerated to about 10 mile over the speed limit, unfortunately I did not realize that the car behind me was a Fulton County police officer. He pulls me over, spends a few minutes in his car and then comes up to my window and asks me to get out of the car. I do, and he proceeds to cuff me. I'm fairly calm, but I had a WTF look on my face and finally asked him why he was placing me in handcuffs. He states that my license plate comes back as a a stolen license plate number and I am being arrested for theft by taking.
The cop proceeds to sit me in the back of his car and I am asking, begging him to check my glove compartment for my registration, which I am pretty sure is on the top of a stack of crap in the glove box. He goes over to my car to check and spends about 1.5 seconds looking for the registration, but comes back and says he couldn't find anything. So, off to the Fulton County Jail I go! Now, I wouldn't call myself a fancy dresser or anything, but that morning, I was wearing some stupid fashionable sweater with a turtleneck underneath, a nice pair of jeans and some loafers. Needless to say, that is not really the attire you want to be wearing to visit the Fulton County jail, if you want to blend in with the crowd. I get sent into a pen with 10 derelicts, all eyes on me and proceed to find my way to one of the least piss stained cold metal benches I could find.
As I sat for about 5-6 hours, I am asking myself What in the ever living frick is going on here? That license plate was the same plate I have had on that car since I bought it a couple years prior. Anyway, my parents were out of the country, so I called my sister who lived in Buckhead and she finally bails me out after getting through all of the bureaucratic BS that is Fulton County. They tell me where my car is being kept and that I can go and grab any personal belongings. Sure enough, right on top of a pile of crap in the glove box, is my registration ( I think I had to move one paper to the side to see the registration) which shows the exact same license plate number that is on the back of my car.
One of the funniest parts of this story is my friends who had no idea where I was, but still went to the game, even though, I was essentially MIA as far as any of them were concerned. I got home later that night, and they were like, "Dude, we thought you ran away or something". LOL, nothing was going to keep them from going to that game (It was quite an event back in the day).
Anyway, fast forward a few days, and I am doing some sleuthing. The car was registered in Dekalb county so I visited the tag office in Decatur and found my way to some clerk or secretary and told her my story. She proceeds to bring me a police report showing some lady in Decatur who reported her tag as being stolen, and either she had mistakenly given them my license tag number or the police had written it down wrong (it was off by one letter). Either way, for some reason, no cross checking was done - I am guessing most records were not in the computer at that time - and Voila, I am now driving around with a stolen license plate.
So, I hired an attorney (my parents did), went to court for the original infractions of speeding and theft by taking. After being presented with the evidence, of course they dropped the theft by taking, but still made me pay the fine for speeding. I plead with the judge to let that one slide due to the expenditures of the bail money and the attorney fees which would not have been needed if not for a colossal government frick up, but she didn't GAF. I really wanted to sue somebody for something, but ultimately was convinced to just let it go. Oh, did I mention that Fulton county double charged my sister's credit card for the bail, and it took her over a year to recoup the extra $500.

If being imprisoned for nothing wasn't bad enough, I still could have written it off as just "part of life". Instead, I completely lost all previous respect for Baton Rouge law enforcement. Even though I complied in every way possible with all those I encountered, the manner in which I, and really every other "inmate" was treated was absolutely despicable and reprehensible. These so-called "men" who I once believed were "serving" our community were nothing but ignorant, common punks and thugs... behavior like you see in movies that depict corrupt, sadistic, and pathological social outcasts with badges and guns. I get it that a man can become callous and insensitive when dealing with society's riff-raff on a daily basis. But, what I experienced and witnessed makes me wonder now if these claims that police are nothing but thugs guilty of corrupt, unethical, illegal treatment, and criminal killings aren't true.
This white boy is woke.
