Cousin’s wedding band (12 members + 2 techs) was around $16k in ATL a few years ago.

I wonder if they used a band through east coast entertainment.

we had 'Party on the Moon' come in for our wedding last year, not saying how much they cost to perform but they were a hell of a good time.

Yep. Shits expensive. I didn't make much money fresh out of school. I simply couldn't afford it. He understood. No big deal.

I did the next time. And honestly regret it. Waste of $$.

It's not hard to say "I'll pass"
I admit, it's not as bad for a man to be in a wedding, but for a woman there is a lot more involved. My wife has been spending alot of time and money for her friends wedding. Not worth it

It's kinda sad if you have never been asked to be in a wedding. I'm an a-hole and I have been in 4 and best man in 1.

To answer your question, yes, I've been in several weddings and it's always fun. I probably have a few more that I'll be in, in the future, too.

This.

In three or four years some of our friends will start having kids that will get married and I can't wait to go to them. Weddings are always a damn good time, especially down here.

In general I actually like to be in a wedding. The only thing you are really obligated to pay for is the tux. You get taken care of, get a ride to the event, and get to hang out with your closest friends for a couple days.

Definitely sounds like you’ve never been in one and are jealous of people that get invited to be in one. Just my opinion. That’s how people how people act when they are jealous. “Id never want to win a million dollars, too much of a headache to deal with lawyers and family that want money.”
