Heads up, LSU is losing its arse on the not 1 but 2 parking garages. I see this a driving force to ensure those garages return a profit. Think about it?

Greatly appreciate you answering my question. I guess thats good news for B tag faculty and staff. But I guess bad news for them during the first 2 weeks of a semester when they are fighting everyone for a spot. Going to have faculty parking a looooong way away will not go over well.

I know this might be really bad to say on this message board, but I'm pretty sure the university is more concerned about the issues students have on a daily basis, vs 8 days a year of football games.
And in any event, perhaps they will made additional provisions for game day.

There will still be paved pathways in the places of these roads. Parking for events will look like the renovated driveway to Pleasant Hall where non-gamedays the wide sidewalk is for pedestrians and on gamedays its used to park vehicles.

I don’t think many understand just how unsafe all that parking is along the street. especially since half the students don’t know how to properly negotiate a crosswalk and rarely Have their eyes forward out of their phone.
Most of y’all want to literally pull your car right up to the building and run into class. That shite works at places like Delgado and uno. It needs to be phased out here

Job one should be a Nicholson (highway 30) bypass around the campus especially since you have all the residences at the Gateway project.
It's dangerous for pedestrians and it's not an optimal location for all the hazardous chemical transport trucks either.
