90 is a BIG detour to laffy from n.o. I would take my chances on 10

It's about 20 more miles, so ask yourself, what are the chances I'll be slowed down for 20 minutes between the MRB and the Basin. I'd be going 90.

Why in god's name would you want to take i10 through BR? 90 is the answer every single time.

90 is the only option here. Slow down around Jeanerette as there is always a blacked out marshal patrolling for speeders.

I have a friend that lives in Shreveport but travels weekly to Lafayette, Baton Rouge , and New Orleans, and has done so for years, he will not get on the basin bridge, quite sure he has tried every conceivable route but 190 is way to get across the basin

get stuck on that shite for more than 4 hours in the summer, and you will see why your friend is a very very wise man.

Everyday someone post on here about the basin bridge cluster frick.

Why even attempt it?

Hwy 90 will be very much better. You can do 80mph for the vast majority between Laffy to MC... and then MC to Raceland.
