You don't need anything over 12mp on a tiny phone sensor.

I'm surprised more phones to have projector capabilities...

Samsung had this back in 2012

I'm not a photographer or very active on Instagram, but the camera is still pretty important to me. Comparing pics I took with my iPhone X a few years ago vs pics I take with my iPhone 13 Pro makes the old pics look like complete trash. I like having good quality pics from my travels.

Get a cheap DSLR or mirrorless, they're far superior. The tiny sensor on phones limits their capabilities.

They keep adding unnecessary MPs to make folks buy new ones.

I probably should get a DSLR for some trips. Most of the stuff I've been doing lately though is mountaineering related and I don't wanna haul around the extra weight/ bulk of a DSLR, so I just stick with my phone.

Of course not. Your phone will one day have three D technology that allows you to see the as-constructed insides of public buildings and spaces as pass them.

Battery tech and holographic projection are really the next frontiers for phones.

Graphene batteries will be perfect for phones and they are already working on holographic tech. As far as how they function, that’ll probably remain the same until people are willing to go the implant route. Personally, I have zero desire for that, the creep factor is insanely high.

Beginner DSLRs are light unless you're carrying a heavy lens or a bunch of lenses.

I've got a Canon RP (full frame) with a little prime lens thats less than 2 lbs overall. You can squeeze a lot more out of a RAW file.

Foldable

Having a phone that folds, is just another thing for it to break..

I’m perfectly fine with the regular phone..

I still can’t have sex with mine, so no. It needs another “port”.

There is plenty to innovate and Silicon Valley is working on it now.

In the 90s no one had a clue what was coming in just 10 years.

I like the OP’s far-sightedness.

He stands side-by-side with the genius Duell.

We should close the Patent Office:

Funny how hard drive space is finally cheap as dirt just as you don't really need that much hard drive space anymore

Ya my old Moto Z2 from like 6 years ago has a projector mod that can attach that doesn't make the phone all that much thicker. Still break it out when the power goes out and we project movies I downloaded to it on the wall to pass time.

Motorola/Lenovo was way too ahead with their wearable tech and the mods. If apple came out with mods like a high end camera, projector, or JBL speaker that attached to the phone people would lose their minds.

I want battery to last a week with heavy use and a solar panel on the back.

Other than that, I don’t need any more capability.

No way your 6s can still hold a battery charge.
