I’m curious to know if any of the “be responsible and wear a mask, stay home, etc” folks on this board have taken the opportunity over the past 4 months to reduce your own risk by losing weight. Because I’m not seeing it in the people I routinely run into who fall in that category.

Edit: Downvote away fatties

Nope but I wasn't one of those who got to stay home.

Weight is around the same as it was before this started.

I was 230 in October. Currently 200.
Believe I’m currently fighting da Rona off so I’ll update in 10-14 days.

My work hasn’t shut down. We are a FinTech 100 company. Most are working from home but us hardware/networking guys are still coming to campus every day. I’ve been hitting the beer hard though on the weekends since I’ve been going to the lake/rivers. I need to get back to working out but meh ,I enjoy being lazy these days.

I am not concerned about COVID so much, but this dang quarantine and working from home has not been good on the old waistline.

A healthy lifestyle is a real defense against Kung Flu but our politicians want to drill people about masks.

Get healthy Louisiana would be a racist campaign I guess.

Gained 10lbs, but had one helluva time. Gonna cut back on da booze after the 4th and try and drop below 200 again. 180 is the target abs will become visible again.

That would require personal responsibility. Why would they change the way they live when they can change the way you live?

I’m not one of these strict weirdos, but I have taken this time since the beginning of the year to take better care of myself. I’ve lost 27 lbs since January and I wasn’t overly fat to begin with (~20 lbs overweight at the start of the year).

Having restaurants closed to dining in for a while helped for sure
