Would you recommend a family vacation in Vidalia?

Ain’t no party like a MissLou party. Come for riverfront hotels and local scenic road trips to The Duck’s Nest and Jackie’s Riverside Restaurant fueled by McDonougha’s or JoJo’s Drive Thru. Stay for digging up the history of The Silver Dollar Gang or fishing.

Been a thing since the 1960’s. Sorry none of your lineage was ever good enough to know about it.

Now Johnny Hoffpauir is a name I haven’t heard in a while. Some of my family lives in Vidalia but we played Vidalia quite a bit when I was in high school as well. I think one year in the late 90s he led Vidalia baseball to an insane 40-0 undefeated season.

Get private lessons 1 hr per week. Thank me later, after saving 10s of thousands in a few years.

Plus kid actually gets better that way.

Wrong reason to be right.

Wife and I got those ice things you put around the neck. Actually worked really well for 1.5 hours in the shade. And no, they would not refreeze in the ice chest. The remaining 2 hours we sweated it out. The kids had some kind of coolent towels some of them wore in the dugout if they wanted. Most of them (like us when we were kids) wasn't affected much by the heat. Parents now a days, seem very aware of hydration of kids the day before with plenty of electrolytes. We told ours to just keep our ice neck packs, its gonna be a long, hot summer, and I'm avoiding it for the most part.

Clearly y’all didn’t play in Catahoula parish. My uncle will never forget the day he went high and inside on me.
