Has there ever been a worse phrase than "THE SCIENCE IS SETTLED"?

That's quite literally the opposite of what science is. Who are the morons that eat this up? "I'm sorry Bill, that fact you just discovered doesn't fit because THE SCIENCE IS ALREADY SETTLED so please stop being curious and asking questions."

Pretty much the most unscientific thing you can say.

It’s a phrase liberals use to convince people of lies. Nazis had way less propaganda than Americans are subject to.

Once you realize that atheist liberals use Science™ as their replacement for God and religion, the phenomenon begins to make sense.

It’s a propaganda phrase designed to stamp out dissent

This is what you are thinking about at 5:48am? Think about kicking arse and pissing excellence.

It is solely a progressive tactic to silence dissent.

That is it.

yes it is. Vance tried to provide some new information about climate change in the debate the other night and the impartial mods cut him off and hissed at him that THE SCIENCE IS SETTLED and it just kind of stuck in my craw.

And don't tell me what to do.

It's on par with saying "Trust The Science!" sarcastically as if we shouldn't take advice from scientists because it might change someday.

Maybe today is the day we find out drinking bleach is suddenly the best thing you can do healthwise, but that isn't what has been observed thus far.

Did you just compare a simple reaction to a theory explaining the origins of the universe?

I fricking hate that phrase. I had a libtard friend who would say that all the time about anything I said which he disagreed with.

That and, "the case law is settled" when I brought up R vs W. Too bad we stopped talking to each other before that was overturned. I would have loved to rub that in his face.

Brought to you by liberal loons.

We are living 1984 and about half the country is either too dumb, gullible, complacent, or complicit to care.

They only say this because they "voted" on it.

Voting != Science

Where did you see me mention the big bang?

Observation is fundamental to all science, not just the big bang theory.

It's how hypothesis are tested.

You really trusted the science when you typed up this post as well, unless you think the internet works via magic.

At some point, the need to be a contrarian must just hurt you on a personal level right? I play a lot of devil's advocate, but you're on another level.

Nah, I just think it's funny OP made a post about how we shouldn't trust science because during a political debate he got upset a over climate change and the covid shite.

It sounds like he should learn to not trust politicians rather than science.

After all, he trusted science that his electricity would work, his phone/computer would work, and the internet would work all before he took the initiative to make this post.

Does OP have a problem with climate change science, or politicians using that science to pass legislation that lines their own/their friends pockets?
