They told LAX. I live 5 miles south of LAX on the ocean. We were told several days ago that we would be hearing a lot more airport noise because they were going to have to divert planes from their normal approach and ascent lanes because the military was planning something.
It actually caused my wife to want to close the window because of plane noise. I told her deal with it.
