I think what made the OT great was unfiltered thoughts, comedy and irreverent humor. Now everyone is too afraid their post history will get doxxed at some point and they will get fired. Or worse. Ask Judge about that.

Alright I’ll shoot you straight. All the action is on other boards. It’s dried up here. The heat is on and the mods are shutting down threads all over, see.

The best of the OT now is solving crimes
and breaking news. Unfortunately that means people have to suffer for there to be any real interest from this board.
We used to have OT meetups, real life drama play out, AMAs for the newbies, even the occasional doxing and local celebrities pop in for a time or two. Now we have too many weirdos around for me to even think about convincing Livvy to post.
I guess we need 86 girl to come back for a
10 year anniversary and let us know how she’s doing.

A recent interesting post about a guy going to another continent was deleted. That guy was in a completely different country Friday. The story is real life stuff but is being censored.

Maybe everyone is growing up so things they found interesting have evolved or now seem trivial or not worth the effort
And I agree that the censorship of political topics/discussion has had a negative effect. Not because i necessarily enjoyed the subjects, but , like it or not,society has injected politics into every aspect of life. The OT simply reflected that. The whining about how everything on the OT was politicized was misplaced as it was a reflection of our lives, not some aspect the OT added.
