Everyone came together and raised just enough to cover the expenses for the unit, 2-year plan and the Tactipup collar. Damn dogs are expensive

I’m thinking it might come in the week of Thanksgiving, so that’ll be perfect

Was Rico just hanging out in the same intersection or was he tied up?

On the 2nd, he was sitting in the median on 1-10 around the Chalmette exit. On the 3rd, he was on the right hand shoulder, 1-10 west. At some point he crossed the interstate.

I'm just glad to be part of a dog thread without being accused of being a murderer.

That’s on you. But it’s never to late to change your ways.

I saw you posting before Rico was found and thought oh shite, here we go.

Can we get a Google maps screenshot of the area?

I-10 entering The East ... that tore up ground is from wild hogs rooting up the area

7-8 blocks of high crime dangerous areas, then the swamp. Hwy 90 and 11 are places you do not want to be. Area is 5-8 minutes from the French Qtr, downtown NOLA . Where the47 and 2 are is known as Little Woods. In the 60's and 70's these were nice fishing and summer camps on the Lake. Now it is also dangerous AF.

lots of bodies and unsolved murders here, abandoned 6 Flags in background

this scene happens weekly .. just watch The First 48

Did I mention snakes ? 68" cane brake , area is full of snakes, alligators and wild hogs

I believe the OP 's MVA happened close to here and where Rico escaped

Abandoned I-10 interchanges in NO-E

around 10 yrs ago, good friend of mine said he found an area loaded with hogs and asked if I wanted to go. I asked him where was it ? He replied NO East near I-10 and Paris Rd. My reply back: Nah I'm Good, I'm not that mad at the hogs.
