My best example happened at a nice bar/restaurant in Morgantown, WV. I was with two single coworkers and there were three good looking women in their late twenties, maybe early thirties at a table in the bar area near us. The two guys were afraid to approach them because they didn’t wanna get shot down so I went talk to them. I introduced myself and told them that I was married, but my friends were single and “were afraid to approach them because they were so pretty and would get shot down.” They laughed and we talked for a bit and I was buzzed and making them laugh. I wasn’t flirting because I wasn’t interested and it really put them at ease. I called my friends over and we bought them drinks and all started talking. The best looking one, an absolute gorgeous blonde really stared flirting with me after I made it clear that I was happily married and didn’t cheat on my wife. It was like a challenge to her I guess, forbidden fruit. No doubt in my mind I could have hooked up with her. Even my coworkers said the same thing. It was so obvious that they noticed it also.

So, be funny and don’t try too hard.
