Has anyone here had any experience with The Rougarou?

I remember 1 time when I was very young, probably like 7-8 I was over at my grand father’s house in Morganza when he had an encounter with the Rougarou. He came running into the house very winded and he had a large scratch across his chest and his right sleeve was shredded and hand all scraped up.. he say he was getting once of his cows off the levee when it came up on his… only thing that saved his was his old Catahoula Cer stepped up and ran the thing off.
Have you or anyone you know had any run ins?
In terms of Cajun folklore, the Rougarou may be the most popular. This creepy creature is said to live in the swamps and sugar cane fields of southern Louisiana, waiting for its next victim. It’s often described as having the body of a human and the head of a wolf - almost like a werewolf. The story of the Rougarou is centuries old and, as any oral tradition goes, sometimes new stories splinter off into their own versions. While all of the versions are cautionary tales, there are a few different versions you may have heard.

Saw one a few weeks ago. I think it was a female. There was a baby Rougarou following her and she had tits.. They were running across a sugar cane field.

Rougaroo is a hack translation of French for werewolf.
I know some guys who claim to have seen it. Left all their shite in the woods and ran home. I think it must have been a bear.

100% - brought a girl home from the bar one night, got the pants off, and something that looked like that was staring me in the face and smelled like the swamp - got the frick outta there. Never heard fro her again - hope she survived.

We were at our camp deep in the Louisiana woods back in 1992.
I got up at 4 am to take a crap and while sitting on the toilet one stuck his arm through the the window, breaking the glass and tried to grab me.

There is a Halloween festival in Houma called Rougarou Fest.

Of course not; it isn't a real thing.
By the way, this should be posted in this GOAT thread.
