Dude if whoever started that actually gets to their goal that would be a sweet payday for what was essentially a joke to begin.

I also think the hyperloop or some form of high speed transportation besides a plane is needed in the US.

Just curious, why?

Look at the transportation system in Europe and bullet trains in China. If I can get to say Houston in an hour without jumping on a plane and all the security, I'm all for finding new modes to get me there.

Yep

I live in the DFW area. I think it's like 19 minutes to Austin and 6 minutes to Fort Worth. That would be quite the gamechanger.

That would be awesome. You could work in Dallas and live in Austin feasibly.

Crazy.

No idea what the cost would be for a ride though, but seems possible to work in places that are now 3 hours away.

He's just such a hot head.

Which is sad because I think he does cool shite and has some divergent opinions for a well-known billionaire in this PC age
I can’t imagine how difficult it is to relate to normal people when you’re a billionaire. You probably feel invincible and don’t understand why you can’t just say whatever the f you want.

He hasn’t fallen out of favor for me. Some people like to think of him as Tony Stark. He is not that: he is Lex Luthor. He’s a genius with a god complex who thinks he’s saving the world but is actually an exceptionally selfish human being. I like Lex Luthor, so I like Elon Musk.

So long as you see him for what he is, I don’t see any reason you should be disappointed in him.

If it is direct with no intermediate stops, maybe.

I have ridden bullet trains all through Europe, China, and Japan. I just dont see it being feasible in the US.
