Has anyone ever experienced a "glitch in the Matrix" type event?

An unexplained event of sorts
2 weeks back I got a haircut from this chick named Sarah. I liked her style of cutting hair so I asked for her name and she proceeded to hand me a business card with her name and the business phone number.
Yesterday I call the barber shop and ask for Sarah and the girl that answers says "there's no Sarah that works here". I go on to tell her that can't be true and start explaining to her what she looks like etc. To no avail, she laughs and says "you must have the wrong barbershop sir".
Anyone else ever experience "that person didn't exist" type event?

I think people will eventually find out the real matrix on judgement day when every knee will bow to Jesus and we transition into eternity. The truth about our existence will be revealed that day.

Maybe because they get calls all the time from stalker types that get a haircut from a chick and then falls in love? Instead of saying "yes ma'am, this is (insert name) and I'd like to set up an appointment with Julie", you creepishly say "may I talk to Julie". She doesn't like you bro, it was just a hair cut

Maybe the girl no longer works there and the chick answering the phone is new and never knew her.
