Has anyone changed phone carriers recently?

Family has been apart of AT&T for years and it’s been fine. But the bill is about $300 with 4 phones attached to it.
About to have to add another phone/line to it for a teenager and was curious if it’s best to stay or if any one of you have stories of who you switched to and how much you saved. Also, were you able to keep the same number?

I pay $125 for 5 phones with cricket and it's the same service coverage as AT&T. No issues with coverage. I think after 10 gb the unlimited high speed internet throttles down or whatever, but doesn't matter to us. Never any extra charges. The thing I don't like with Cricket is that hotspot is not free and an extra charge.
I once tried T-Mobile where I live and the service was bad. Cricket/AT&T is superior for where I live. I was actually looking at Mint mobile plans earlier, but noticed they are T-Mobile.

T-Mobile to mint. Saved $50 a month on one line ($15 a month now.) Number port is easy.
Check coverage maps, but also consider when you’re at home, you’re on WiFi. I had dead zones between my driveway and a major intersection a mile and a half away with both Verizon and T-Mobile/mint. Att users have a dead zone where I currently live, I don’t.
Switching off of pre paid will save you money. I use Waze all the time and listen to gigs worth of podcasts a month, but only download on WiFi, and I used 2.5GB in a month. Not hard.

Pure Talk. Changed a year ago. Great coverage. $32 a month. Unlimited talk and text. No issues.
Make the move.

Yeah, I was with AT&T since 2001. The end of last year, I switched to Verizon. Theres no loyalty from these companies when it comes to long time customers. Verizon was offering the latest iPhone with any trade in, basically for free. So I jumped on it. Same plan, unlimited everything, hot spot, etc., and I’m paying just a bit more due to insurance on the phone. I’ve been pleased with the service so far. And yes, I kept my number.

USMobile, choose from Verizon T-Mobile, or ATT depending on your area. You won’t get a subsidized phone but I get more data than I can use and Verizon has the same priority as their post-paid subscribers which others like Mint Mobile don’t. It makes a difference.

I pay less than $200 to AT&T for 4 phones for unlimited. You sure that number doesn’t include your loan for new phones?

I just checked and I’m at 152 GB with 6 days left in month. I looked into switching but $130 of my $330 bill is phone payments. Not sure if there’s a better deal out there than $200 a month with that amount of data.
152 is just me, other 3 phones are 10-20 GB a month

I am a fan of Visible. Everything is included --- and this means unlimited hotspot. $20 per line.
