From what I can tell, about 50% of high end jeans for dudes are stretchy now. And a ton of good menswear companies are making a lot of their pants with some stretch in them.
Brooks Brothers, AG, Peter Millar, Mountain Khakis, etc.
They don't look as good as plain chinos for work and the like, but for going to the bar or to eat or casual Friday, I'm running out of excuses to wear anything but 2% spandex/lycra blends. They're the shite.

I have some stretchy jeans from Target that are really comfortable. They aren't skinny jeans nor are they mom jeans or Jncos. Just something in between and fit really well.

Yeah, all my skinny jeans are an stretch type material. Super comfortable.

I believe even Levi´s have a bit now. They don´t feel the same. It´s OK with me, I´ve bought four different pair in the last few months. They look normal, feel slightly more comfortable. No big deal. Fabric technology, that´s all.
